THERAPY? -SCREAMAGER

Formed in 1989, Therapy? are a three piece from Northern Ireland. The band quickly built up an impressive reputation for their uncompromising and visceral live shows. Their earlier albums possess a violent, almost industrial intensity. 'Troublegum', Therapy?'s forth album saw them take a lighter more melodic approach and as a result the band crossed over into the mainstream and won numerous awards in both Ireland and the UK. The song "Screamager" epitomises this new approach. The follow up to "Troublegum"- 'Infernal Love"- earned them fleeting popularity in the US. After that it was decreasing record sales and 2002 saw them without a record deal. Recently however Therapy signed a worldwide deal with Demolition Records and the band has begun the writing process for their 12th studio album, which is scheduled for release towards the back end of 2008.

Origin of the bands name-Therapy (in Greek: θεραπεία), or treatment, is the attempted remediation of a health problem, usually following a diagnosis. In the medical field, it is synonymous with the word "treatment". Wikipedia
